Day 11
We staied in Ocracoke today, we did it for 3 reasons, first of all it's a really beautiful place and I'm really glad I had the chance to walk around and see the ocean and the famous lighthouse and just wonder around the island. Seconde is because we were both so tired, Ned took a long nap in the afternoon and we just took the day really easy, walking around, taking care of the laundry (the nice people in the hotel let us us their washer and dryer and so now we have plenty of clean socks and underwear), and just enjoying not being in constant motion. The third reason is that when we woke up this morning there was a crazy rain outside and through the entire day there were lightnings, very loud thunders and a lot of rain.
Tomorrow we plan to move on, though I'm a little sad about missing a boat sailing trip to see some island with wild hourses living on it. I can't wait to see what other amazing places we'll get to next.
